Use cases

Built for the sites the grid forgets.

Nebula cabinet under a solar canopy beside a jungle pipeline with a security camera

Southeast AsiaRainforest, daily downpours

Pipeline security

A pipe bursts. Where is it, and how fast can you see it?

PTZ cameras · leak sensors · floodlight

Cameras and sensors pinpoint it. Your crew goes straight there.

Mine sites

Cameras and comms far out on site run on diesel and swapped batteries.

Dome cameras · 4G link · access control

Solar and storage replace the fuel runs and the swaps.

Southeast AsiaMonsoon, 35 °C, 90% humidity

Border and police posts

When tension rises, fuel convoys become the weak link.

Cameras · floodlights · radio · barrier

Runs 24/7 on its own. No fuel to bring in.

Water pump stations

When the power drops, so does the telemetry. Faults go unseen.

SCADA · flow meter · radio link

Flow and alarms reach your control room, day and night.

Exploration camps

Every litre of diesel is trucked or flown in.

Cameras · Wi-Fi · comms

Fewer fuel runs, lower camp costs. It moves with the camp.

Cost of ownership

In Singapore, 23% to 45% cheaper over ten years than swapping batteries.

And 38% cheaper than a generator. Where the grid is close, use the grid.

Thailand, against battery swaps
29% to 44% lower ten-year cost
Visits a year
4 to 8, against 100 or more for battery swaps and 35 for diesel
Diesel avoided per site
4,380 L and 11.7 t CO2 a year

Source: Starlit cost model, October 2026 prices. Battery swaps two to three times a week. In Thailand, subsidised diesel is cheaper on cost alone.
